Botswana Stock Exchange has announced that BIHL securities listed on the BSE Domestic Main Board have been halted from trading with immediate effect in terms of section 8.3.1 © of the BSE ATS Equity Trading Rules.

With the objective of maintaining a fair, efficient and orderly securities trading environment, BSE says the securities have been halted to allow the company to provide clarity to the market concerning a proposed transaction involving Sanlam, its mother company. BSE says the halting of the company’s securities from trading will only be lifted once the company has published full details providing clarity on BSE X-news.
