Charles Russon, Group Executive for Africa Regions at Absa Group, says Africa presents enormous opportunities that could drive economic growth across the continent. In an interview with the Business Weekly & Review, Russon emphasized that it is time to move beyond discussion and turn potential into reality.
“We've got some of the youngest people on the continent. You know, we've got rare earth minerals,” he said. “But it’s more than just rare earth minerals—there are minerals galore, alongside some of the most arable land globally.” Russon highlighted the combination of natural resources and a youthful, motivated workforce as massive opportunities for Africa.
