Chobe Holdings, Kalahari Insurance Brokers and Hollard Join Forces with Wild Entrust to Support Waste Management in the Northwest Chobe Holdings Limited, through Chobe Impact, together with Kalahari Insurance Brokers and Hollard, has donated 50 refuse bins and a combined P300,000 to Wild Entrust in support of a district-wide clean-up and waste management initiative.

The contribution comprises P100,000 each from Chobe Impact, Kalahari Insurance Brokers and Hollard. The Northwest District Council is supporting the initiative, which follows a recent clean-up campaign and forms part of a broader “Bin Movement” aimed at improving waste collection and environmental upkeep in local communities.

Wild Entrust will manage the refuse bins and coordinate the regular collection and disposal of waste. The organisation has engaged local company DM Environmental to carry out the collection and emptying of the bins.

Speaking on the initiative, Ibo, Manager of Chobe Impact and spokesperson for the organisation said the partnership demonstrates the importance of collaboration in addressing environmental challenges.

> “This initiative is well aligned with Chobe Holdings’ commitment to environmental stewardship, community development and sustainable tourism. We are proud to collaborate with our insurance partners, Wild Entrust and the Northwest District Council in supporting cleaner, healthier communities.”

The donation ceremony brought together representatives from Chobe Impact, Kalahari Insurance Brokers, Hollard, Wild Entrust and the Northwest District Council. The event underscored the shared commitment of public, private and community stakeholders to improving waste management and maintaining cleaner surroundings across the district.
