Lotsane Safaris has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting communities in Botswana’s Bobirwa region through a contribution of P25,000 and four impalas towards the Motlhabaneng Cultural Heritage Event, scheduled for 30 October 2026.
The contribution will support the organising committee in hosting the event, which celebrates local culture, traditions and heritage. The gathering is expected to bring together community members, traditional leaders and invited guests.
In a letter dated 19 October 2026, the Motlhabaneng Cultural Heritage Organising Committee, represented by Kgosi Bethuel Machete, expressed its sincere appreciation to Lotsane Safaris for its generosity and continued support.
The committee acknowledged that the financial assistance and game meat would contribute meaningfully towards the successful delivery of the event and help meet important requirements for participants and guests.
Expanding internet connectivity in local communities. As part of its continuing commitment to community development, Lotsane Safaris has confirmed and fully paid for two additional Starlink satellite internet systems, which will be installed at Lenswe le Moriti community school and SemolaleJunior School.
All the necessary equipment has been purchased, with installation expected to take place within the next few weeks. These installations will build on Lotsane Safaris’ existing efforts to improve internet connectivity across the Bobirwaregion, providing schools and communities with greater access to online educational resources, communication services and digital opportunities.
Lotsane Safaris has already supported Starlink installations at other local schools and community institutions, helping to improve access to digital information and communication services.
A continuing commitment to community development
The Motlhabaneng contribution forms part of Lotsane Safaris’ wider programme of voluntary community support across the Bobirwa region during 2026. Initiatives have included the installation of Starlink internet connectivity, improvements to school facilities, educational assistance, donations of game meat and equipment, and the provision of a vehicle to support local policing. These contributions reflect LotsaneSafaris’ commitment to building lasting relationships with neighbouring communities and supporting meaningful local development.
