Following the announcement of the temporary closure of the Shakawe branch in 2018, Absa Bank Botswana announced the re-opening of the Shakawe branch which was officiated by Bank of Botswana Governor Moses Pelaelo.

With this new facility, Absa says it will be able to provide better service in Shakawe and will be able to expand the scope of its solutions and services in the region.
