The Botswana telecoms regulator has directed mobile operators to cut the price of mobile communication services and data with effect from this month, Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) said this week, adding that the decision is in line with a new costing and pricing study.
Lower prices will likely further increase the country's internet penetration rate as more subscribers find it cheaper to access the Internet.
