First National Bank Botswana (FNBB) unveiled a significant brand name sponsorship agreement with the prestigious Blue Tree World of Golf Driving Range, marking a new era of solutionist banking excellence and golfing prowess.
The bank says this collaboration, a true testament to FNBB’s commitment to enriching the lives of its clients and community, brings together two industry leaders to create the “FNB World of Golf @ Blue Tree.” This partnership underscores FNBB’s dedication to providing unparalleled experiences and opportunities to clients, community, and golf enthusiasts. “We are excited to announce this remarkable partnership with Blue Tree World of Golf,” said Steven Bogatsu, FNBB CEO. “This is more than just a sponsorship; it is a shared vision to elevate the golfing experience and provide a space of growth, excellence, and community.”
Bogatsu also mentioned that the Bank’s strategy over the years has included supporting grassroots sports, and this partnership provides a great platform for young golfers to grow in the field. “Golfing traditionally has always been a niche market in the country, but we strive to change the status quo. Through this partnership, our clients will enjoy discounts to enable them to continue playing the sport that they are passionate about,” said Bogatsu. Bogatsu also emphasised that this deal was just an extension of the existing partnership that the Bank has had with Blue Tree World of Golf which spans for about 10 years.
This has included branding the facility as well as offering discounts to FNBB staff and customers when they swipe their FNBB cards. Speaking on behalf of Blue Tree World of Golf, Steve Smith stated “We are incredibly excited about this new partnership with FNBB. This partnership will enable us to further develop and maintain the facility we have at Blue Tree. After 12 years in operation, this is a watershed moment for Golf Development in Botswana. Special mention needs to be made of Tiki Media for bringing Blue Tree and FNBB together to birth the FNB World of Golf @ Blue Tree.” The partnership is set for an initial 3 years and took effect from 1st of July this year.
