Members of Botswana Public Employees Union (BOPEU) may cancel their insurance policies if the Non-Banking Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) succeeds in halting illegal deductions for premiums by the union’s investment arm, Babereki Investments.
According to Oarabile Magwaza of the insurance section of NBFIRA, the intervention may result in members making new logistics of processing their premiums.
