      Phoi appointed Stanbic’s Chief Finance and Value Management Officer

      Stanbic says her appointment is a further testament to the bank’s commitment of growing its people and staying true to its talent and succession management philosophy.

      Phoi appointed Stanbic’s Chief Finance and Value Management Officer

      Stanbic Bank Botswana confirmed the appointment of Realeboga Phoi as Chief Finance and Value Management Officer (CFVMO), effective 1st July 2022 post regulatory approvals.

      Phoi takes on the role after being with the Bank for 5 years first as Financial Controller and later as Head of Finance. Stanbic Chief Executive, Chose Modise says she has demonstrated passion for clients and a good balance between profit and purpose, thinking beyond finance. “This is the kind of mindset that will help us in turn ensure the successful delivery of our purpose, ‘Botswana is our home, we drive her growth’.”

      Phoi is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Association, holding an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She is also a Fellow Member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA). She brings over 18 years of professional experience, 11 years of which have been in the corporate financial services sector, including having worked with one of the big four audit firms for 7 years. While in the Banking and Insurance sectors Phoi has held various senior leadership positions exposing her a Fellow Member of the Association to strategic issues and enterprise risk management.

      Stanbic says her appointment is a further testament to the bank’s commitment of growing its people and staying true to its talent and succession management philosophy.
