Speaking to what this means, BIC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Newton Jazire said, “This is validation by an independent source of our team work, and that we are indeed on the right path as an organization who amongst other goals, seeks to become a meaningful contributor to the economy of Botswana”.
The PMR Africa Awards are held annually and acknowledge contributions and initiatives, strategies, efforts and hard work done by companies in their sector. PMR Africa looks at the company’s vision, integrity, values, competence and ’empathy’ that contributes to ethical and sustainable business practices
Jazire, who applauded the BIC team for this milestone, said the award is a result of great team work and will be celebrated as such. He went on to point out that this recognition will be further motivation for the organization as a whole to continue to give their best and that this award is an indication that hard work never goes unnoticed. “This is the fourth award we are receiving in 2021. For us it is about the energy and the resources we put towards the team and this Diamond Arrow award like others before it bears testimony to that”.
