Puma Energy Botswana recently welcomed the world-famous aerobatics team, the Puma Energy Flying Lions, to Botswana.

The Lions have become synonymous for wowing crowds with displays across Southern Africa over the last two decades. Since 2017, the team has partnered with Puma Energy to secure access to aviation fuels that meet the highest international quality and safety standards. The team, which operates Harvard AT6 aircraft, is regarded as an essential act at every major air show across the region.

Speaking at the event, the General Manager of Puma Energy Botswana, Dominic Dhanah, described the Flying Lions as the preeminent display team in Africa, saying they depend on access to a reliable supply of the highest quality aviation fuels available. “As a global fuel business, we are committed to world-class service: providing high quality, competitively-priced products to our many customers around the world,” Dhanah said.

He noted that Puma Energy has made significant investments in its aviation facilities across Botswana so that all its customers – from small flying schools, through large commercial airlines – can rely on the same high quality, reliable service that the Flying Lions expect. “We continue to enjoy the partnership with Flying Lions because they represent precision, high performance, and passion – qualities that are perfectly aligned with Puma Energy’s values,” said Dhanah. Puma Energy is a leading global energy business, providing energy across six continents. Its downstream business segments include fuels, aviation, lubricants, LPG and bitumen.
