Organisations develop good business strategies which often do not see the light of day due to several factors that impede their success but can be proactively managed.

Performance management is key to delivering on organisational goals, hence the need to ensure effective monitoring and execution of projects. Richard Malikongwa is a Business Partner at Taskbench Company and an expert in performance management. He has lauded the establishment of a new multi-faceted platform designed to improve strategy execution, collaboration, and operational efficiency, all while controlling and monitoring business risks. “We have established an enterprise software which will offer businesses an end-to-end process overview for project deliveries and initiatives. The tool ensures a 360-degree view of process workflows, allowing managers to control their strategies’ execution more effectively,” said Malikongwa.

According to him, the Software tool, founded in 2017, with its origins in Botswana, has seen several local corporates signing it up to facilitate a smooth working environment while deriving optimal value from their operations. “It has registered entities in the UK, US, Canada and India, and of course Botswana, while its Development Centre is based both in Gaborone, Botswana and Chennai, India. The solution is designed to improve performance output and provide measurable metrics on individuals’ and organisations’ productivity. It allows you to achieve transparency in goals and performance management,” he added.

Kathiresan Subburaj from Taskbench revealed: “Companies face a relentless battle to convert strategies to goals while maintaining accountability at the right level. With Taskbench, you can break down actionable tasks derived from your strategic goals and monitor them real-time. We are the first and only Cloud Software Exporters from Botswana, having customers from USA, Australia, UAE, Ghana and India”.

He said the all-in-one Software Solution offers an array of services that include: Task management; Audit Management; Document management; Project Management; Operations Management with workflow; Monitor and enhancing productivity multifold; Reduces wastage, improves profitability; Process workflow with approval management; Project Management with Gantt charts; email to Task automation with Service Level Monitoring and escalation ; Actionable drill down reports and dashboards; No IT Infrastructure required; it’s fully cloud, go-live in a short space of time!

He further explained that Taskbench brings accountability to unstructured activities. “The growing sizes of email servers in organisations show that they do not only interact through structured workflows and business process systems. Many activities in businesses happen as unstructured tasks. Taskbench enables you to bring structure and accountability to unstructured tasks.”

According to Subburaj, the solution further enhances collaboration at the task level, even when the task is part of a larger project plan. “Current project management tools are not designed to collaborate at the task level. This is why we designed our solution to have user-friendly, interactive collaboration features that will allow your teams to perform better together.”

Communication with Stakeholders

Another exciting feature of Taskbench is its ability to assist organisations in having formalised interactions with their external stakeholders, such as contractors, suppliers and customers, while maintaining information and security boundaries. “These are critical players in realising our strategic goals, keeping them close to us while delivering our business strategy remains pertinent.”
