Botswana Conxt today announced that it will co-host MAGIC Johannesburg 2026, a creator-focused conference bringing together creators, media leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals to explore personal branding, community branding, intellectual property ownership, and the future of the global creator economy.
The hybrid conference will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, from October 25 through October 27, 2026.
The conference will bring together speakers and participating organizations representing companies and platforms including Universal Admedia, Accera Conxt, and other creator-focused companies and organizations from the United States, Europe,
Africa, and the global African diaspora.A central goal of the event is to create meaningful cross-border relationships between creators in Southern Africa. MAGIC Johannesburg 2026 aims to bring 100 creators from Botswana together with 100 creators from South Africa, creating opportunities for in-person networking, collaboration, learning, and long-term business and creative relationships.
“Creators are increasingly building more than audiences. They are building personal brands, communities, businesses, and intellectual property,” said Nii Addo, Managing Director of Botswana Conxt. “Understanding how these elements connect is essential.
MAGIC Johannesburg 2026 will help creators think more intentionally about what they are building, what they own, and how they can create sustainable value from their work.”
