Loss-making Botswana Railways (BR) has admitted that it is saddled with operational inefficiencies that have undermined both its financial viability and service delivery, but expressed optimism that the new management will stabilize the state-owned enterprise.
BR posted a P90 million loss in the last financial year.
Addressing the media this week, the BR board and executive management said the parastatal has, in recent years, faced operational challenges.
