The National Amalgamated Central, Local and Parastatal Manual Workers' Union (NACLPMWU) has lost, with costs, an urgent court bid to block the appointment of veteran trade unionist Andrew Motsamai as secretary of the Public Sector Bargaining Council.
Justice Lekorwe, in a judgment handed down Thursday, questioned whether NACLPMWU—commonly known as Manual Workers Union—has the legal standing to enforce the provisions of the PSBC as an applicant member.
