Set to take place from the 10th to the 14th of March 2022, these events will serve to promote investments, creativity, innovation, humanity and cultures, particularly for Botswana.
The Investment and Trade Conference will be headlined by His Excellency, President Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi, under the theme โSustained Growth Through Inclusive and Innovative Investmentsโ. โWe have been at the forefront of developing Botswana through pioneering multiple economic sectors for more than 50 years. We are honoured to be partnering with BITC in efforts to further develop our economy, and set Botswana on an upward economic growth trajectory,โ said Cross Kgosidiile, Managing Director at BDC. โCOVID-19 has had devastating effects on the worldโs economies, and Botswana was not spared. We now need to all work together in reversing these effects and moving Botswana forward. It is through partnerships such as these that we will be able to succeed,โ he continued.
Kgosidiile will represent BDC at the Investment and Trade Conference on a panel titled โLeveraging Botswanaโs Financial Services Sector for Inclusive Growthโ. BDC will further participate in a roadshow which will incorporate two business seminars in Abu Dhabi on 8th and 10th March focusing on Agriculture and Mining and Mineral Beneficiation respectively, as well as B2B meetings with participating stakeholders and investorsfor business development purposes and strategic investment opportunities. Expo 2020 Dubai has been running from 1st October 2021 and will end 31st March 2022.
Held under the theme โConnecting Minds, Creating the Futureโ, the Expo recognises and celebrates the power in collaboration and partnerships towards building a better world and shaping the future for all through sustainability, mobility, and opportunity. Botswanaโs participation is anchored on the multi-sectoral approach that the country drives to diversify the economy.
