Botswana Life Insurance Limited (Botswana Life) has earned the top position as Most Admired Financial Services Brand by Africa Brand 100.  The 11th annual Brand Africa 100: Africa’s Best Brands 2021 was a virtual event seeking to honour brands, which had proven most helpful during the pandemic.

Established in 2011, the rankings of the Brand Africa 100 survey analyse brands and businesses across 28 African countries spanning all the five economic regions. Collectively, this survey accounts for 80 percent of the population as well as 80 percent of the African GDP. Botswana Life had previously won fourth position in the Most Admired Financial Services Brand category in 2020. The business has since continued to display its compassion and concern for Batswana’s interests in the subsequent months, culminating in this year’s First position.

Said Botswana Life Insurance Limited Chief Executive Officer Ronald Samuels, “It is an honour to achieve this milestone. It is through the efforts of a team that works tirelessly to ensure that we able to be of service to Batswana even during the most turbulent of times. Last year was truly a difficult one for many, and while there are certainly signs of a brighter future ahead for our economy as whole, we as Botswana Life remain committed to securing the long-term financial security and comfort of our customers.”

As a home-grown life insurer, Botswana Life remains rooted in driving socioeconomic progress. Through their 45 years of existence, the insurer remains committed to its promise of delivering new values in new ways. As testament to this in 2020, Botswana Life, through the BIHL Group contributed P4.5 million towards Botswana’s National Relief Fund.

Concluded Samuels, “The Botswana Life team across all branches of Botswana have rallied together to ensure that the needs of our customers are met. As we set out to grow further together, we remain dedicated to being a partner of choice in the lives of Batswana.”
