A newly released report by Afrobarometer shows that Batswana are worried that tensions between President Mokgweetsi Masisi and former president Ian Khama undermine the country’s economic stability.
“Large majorities in Botswana say the rift between President Mokgweetsi Masisi and his predecessor, Seretse Khama Ian Khama, is causing economic and political instability in the country,” says the report.
