A contractor has petitioned the High Court to overturn the government’s award of multi-million pula Development Manager (DM) service tenders, alleging they were granted to companies that either did not exist at the time of bidding or never submitted proposals.
In court papers, Lediretse Molake challenges the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, cited as the second respondent, over the prequalification and award of the tenders to HSNV Mining (Pty) Ltd, Botlhakga Burrow (Pty) Ltd, and K-Hill Consortium (Pty) Ltd. He claims the process, part of the controversial DM procurement model, was marred by fraud, illegality, and procedural irregularities.
