That is the concern raised by Lemogelang Ebineng, Managing Director of Minet Botswana Retirement Solutions, at the inaugural Botswana Actuarial Symposium recently. He warned that excessive compliance burdens are eroding member balances while offering limited returns on retirement adequacy.
