General Tebogo Carter Masire has been voted out as chairperson of the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) Limited board of directors by shareholders, The Business Weekly & Review has established.
This publication can confirm that this week, a special Shareholders Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held by the BSEL where shareholders of the BSE – consisting of mainly government and stockbrokers voted out General Masire after 7 years of being the bourse chairperson. General Tebogo Carter Masire was appointed as Chairperson of the BSE Main Committee in May 2016, taking over from the then Chair Reginah Sikalesele-Vaka.
