Prominent real estate, research and consulting firm Vantage Properties has tapped into technology to create an app that automates provision of its service.
In an interview with The Business Weekly & Review recently, the founding Director of the real estate company, Sethebe Manake, said with the new app, customers will have the experience of automated services when buying or selling property.
“We are automating the valuation process,” Manake told this publication. Explaining the merits of their latest innovation, Manake said the Go Smart Value app is immediate and more affordable.
She added that since its establishment in 2008, the company has specialised in research. “We needed to share the amount of data we had, hence we opened the platform to valuers,” she said. Manake emphasised that the app will increase the quality of valuation and services that include how to access potential financers.
“The software went live in August last year and the reception has been good,” she added. “The reception so far is satisfactory.” She said Vantage Properties has plans to launch a new and more user friendly version of the app “soon”. Asked about the impact of the new value addition, Manake said they learnt to appreciate the value of data. “People are awake to the fact that property is central to the economy,” she added. Over the years the company has established itself as a leading real estate firm with a niche in research.
