Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) expects to spend a total of P14.2 million on the African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region 5 Games, Business Weekly Sports can reveal.
Formerly known as the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (SCSA) Zone V Games, the AUSC Games will be held in Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi, from 2 to 11 December 2022.
The Games are expected to attract about 3 000 athletes under the age of 20 from different southern Africa nations.

“The AUSC Games are budgeted for P14, 220, 956.00,” said the BNSC Marketing and Communication Manager, Modiri Ontitile, in an interview.
