Botswana Cricket Gears Up for Int’l Tournaments

• It is Rwanda for the women and South Africa for the men
• Strong showing ACA Cup last year is source of much oomph 
• BCA to host ICC Women’s T20 Africa Qualifiers in September 

Botswana’s senior men’s and women’s cricket teams are set to embark on a series of international tournaments, showcasing the country’s growing presence in the sport. 

With an eye on securing top honours, both teams have been practicing hard for their respective competitions. 

The senior men’s national cricket team is to participate in the ACA Men’s T20 South & Central Region Qualifiers that are scheduled to take place in Benoni, South Africa from 27 May to 1st June 2023. The five-nation event will feature Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, eSwatini and Mauritius.
