Chobe Holdings Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Desert & Delta Safaris Proprietary Limited (DDS), is acquiring a 50 percent interest in Mapula NG12 Concessionaire Proprietary Limited.
Mapula is wholly owned by the Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (BPOPF), which itself holds a 32 percent shareholding in Chobe Holdings.
According to Chobe, the acquisition is valued at P19.213 million, a price based on the arm’s length valuation previously agreed between BPOPF and the former owner of the Mapula business.
