New Visa campaign brings Belief Comes First to life with a trip for two and cashback rewards

Gaborone, Botswana – First Capital Bank Botswana is giving its clients the opportunity to turn everyday card payments into meaningful rewards, including a trip for two to Mauritius and P60,000 in cashback prizes. The new Visa campaign reflects the Bank’s Belief Comes First promise: putting clients at the centre and creating more value from the way they bank every day.

Running from 11 September to 11 December 2026, the campaign rewards clients for using their First Capital Bank Visa cards for purchases of P1,500 or more at point-of-sale terminals or online. Every qualifying transaction earns an entry, meaning clients can increase their chances of winning simply by choosing the convenience and security of card payments for their everyday spending.

One grand-prize winner will enjoy a trip to Mauritius with a companion of their choice. The excitement begins before the final draw, with two clients each receiving P10,000 in cashback every month. In total, First Capital Bank will award P60,000 in cashback over the three-month campaign, giving clients several opportunities to win along the way.

The campaign is more than a prize promotion as it responds to the way clients increasingly shop, pay and manage their money across physical and digital channels. By rewarding behaviour that is already part of clients’ daily lives, First Capital Bank is encouraging convenient cashless payments while demonstrating that client-centred banking can be both practical and rewarding.

“Belief Comes First begins with believing in our clients and designing banking around their lives,” said Thatayaone Nicholas Matlapeng, Head of Retail and Digital Banking at First Capital Bank Botswana. “Our clients expect banking to be simple, relevant and rewarding. This campaign recognises the choices they make every day and gives an ordinary card payment the potential to unlock something extraordinary – from cashback that provides immediate value to an unforgettable experience in Mauritius. It is one more way we are putting our clients first and turning our brand promise into a tangible experience.”

Monthly cashback winners will be announced as the campaign builds towards the Mauritius grand-prize draw. First Capital Bank Visa cardholders can participate by using their cards for qualifying in-store or online purchases during the campaign period. With every eligible transaction, clients are not only paying conveniently – they are making every purchase count.
