The sale of Mupane Gold Mine, currently under liquidation, has been halted after the High Court issued an interdict to allow a full review of the sale process.
Earlier this week, Lobatse High Court Judge Reuben Lekorwe ruled that the liquidator, the Master of the High Court, and the Minister of Minerals and Energy are barred from executing any contracts or transfers involving Mupane’s mining licenses until the review is completed.
