  • After two years of being virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the John Maxwell Live2Lead simulcast is back in Botswana

Leadership training company founded by John Maxwell-certified coach Lorato Mosetlhanyane, PinnaLead, is bringing back its annual Live2Lead simulcast aimed at empowering Batswana with leadership skills.

Mosetllhanyane says the simulcast, which for the past two years has been virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is coming at the right time as Botswana and the world in general slowly rises from the uncertainties brought about by the pandemic.  “The pandemic has changed the leadership training landscape,” she told The Business Weekly & Review in an interview.

“For the past two years, the training programmes were either shelved or pushed to the back. The industry had to find creative ways to survive and remain relevant amid a challenging business environment.” The simulcast, which is in its ninth year, will be a whole day’s event, featuring local and regional speakers who will interact with attendants face-to-face before joining a leadership simulcast led by leading international mentor and influential leadership personality, John C Maxwell, to conclude the day.

“Live2Lead is now our annual event due to its great impact on our country’s leadership events for almost a decade,” said Mosetlhanyane. “L2L is a leadership development experience designed to equip leaders with new perspectives, practical tools and key takeaways. Attendees will learn from excellent leadership experts and grow to their maximum potential.” PinnaLead is a citizen owned leadership and human capital development outfit with a mission to develop a new breed of transformational leaders who can construct a proficient world for future generations by exposing them to the world’s best leadership programmes and learning materials through world-class learning methodologies.

The company says it strives to upscale Batswana to become a globally-competitive workforce equipped to uphold international standards in fostering investments. In the nine years since its inception, PinnaLead has worked mostly with private sector clients, including De Beers Botswana, Debswana, First National Bank of Botswana (FNBB), BancABC, Ernst & Young, and the SADC Development Finance Resource Centre.
