Mobile App enables clients to access real time Forex (FX) rates.

Stanbic launches eMarketTrader mobile app

Stanbic Bank Botswana has launched an eMarketTrader Mobile App. The eMarketTrader was first introduced in 2019 by the bank, which enabled clients to access real time Forex (FX) rates. eMarketTrader Mobile App now takes that functionality a step further by giving clients additional capabilities via mobile App, catering for the truly on-the-go modern customer, whether personal or corporate.

Lebea Sephuma, Stanbic Bank Botswana Head of Global Markets says, “As Stanbic Bank Botswana, we are committed to connecting our customers to digitally led solutions that offer simplicity and convenience, making their banking experience that much easier. It is about using our insights and learnings to add value to the customer, as well as investing in stronger customer experience – creating value for our customers if of course at the heart of what we do. The eMarketTrader Mobile App is yet another step in that direction and one we are proud to launch as part of our wider customer experience efforts.”

The eMarketTrader Mobile App is available for download on both iOS and Android, at no extra cost for download, and can be used by any customer who has an eMarketTrader Account with Stanbic Bank. Key features and functionalities of the eMarketTrader App allows include:

  • Access currency rates alerts that can be tailored to your requirements
  • Get real-time rates from our Global Markets trading desks
  • Get frequent market updates from our on the ground sales and trading research teams
  • Buy and sell currency if you have an eMarketTrader account opened with us. If not, contact us to sign up for execution
