Diamond beneficiation company, Stargems Botswana, has invested P13 million in its Diamond Polishing Institute to cover infrastructural updates that will allow for practical diamond polishing with natural diamonds in the Diamond Polishing Course. Additionally, full bursaries will be made available for qualifying citizens.

“We are incredibly proud of our 557 graduates who have shown dedication and enthusiasm throughout their training. Our mission at Stargems Diamond Polishing Institute is to empower Botswana’s citizens by providing them with world-class training and opportunities in the diamond industry,” said Stargems Director Sandeep Kolambekar.
The institution has also announced the introduction of the Diamond Polishing Theory course in the last quarter of 2024. Additionally, a Diamond Polishing Practicals course is set to be introduced before the end of the year.
