The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) has launched a nationwide audit of procurement personnel across all government ministries, departments, and state-owned entities to strengthen accountability and professional standards in public spending.
In a circular issued on 15 October 2025 (Circular No. 8 of 2025), PPRA directed all Permanent Secretaries, heads of security agencies, and chief executives of parastatals to submit detailed information on officials responsible for procurement functions within their institutions.
