Darts Expects Only P50K from BNSC for 2023/24

• BODA says sourcing funding will be a priority.
• Youth championships are due in third quarter of this year
• BODA troubled by widespread association of darts with alcohol. 

The Botswana Darts Association (BODA) is expecting as little as P50 000 from the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) for running its affairs for the 2023/24 financial year, The Business Weekly Sports can reveal.

“BNSC has already informed National Sports Associations (NSAs) that they should expect the same amount in grants as they received in 2022,” said BODA spokesperson, Thato Maphorisa, in a telephone interview.
