SPORTS REPORTER

The Africa Zone VI Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (RADO) is still waiting for Botswana’s 800m sensation Nijel Amos’s doping case to be concluded, The Business Weekly Sports has established.

Amos was provisionally suspended on July 13 2022 from partaking in any athletics event by Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) after a sample collected from him tested positive for metabolites of GW1516.

Two months after the suspension, RADO which is a regional organisation designated by the country and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to coordinate and manage delegated areas of anti-doping programmes, is yet to receive Amos’s doping judgment.
