Ever wondered if the world will ever get back to normal again after the Coronavirus pandemic? Well, there could hope for an expedited return to normalcy as people knew it. And Botswana could be among the first countries in the world to make this journey back to the future in a decidedly optimistic sense.

Shycocan, a one-of-its-kind virus attenuation device developed by a well-known Indian scientist and inventor Dr. Rajah Vijay Kumar after a decade of research promises to help do just that. The cylindrical device, Shycocan, is scientifically evidenced to neutralise and help curb the spread of the COVID-19 and the Influenza family of viruses in indoor spaces with 99.9 percent efficacy, enabling schools, colleges, homes and businesses like hospitals, hotels, offices, restaurants, auditoriums, retail, airports and more get back to normal while protecting people in that enclosed space.

Remarkably, Shycocan also works on all current and future variants and mutants of these viruses, protecting people’s health and saving millions of hours of lost productivity.

Shycocan has widespread usage across market segments, including hospitals, clinics, schools, higher education institutions, banking sector, manufacturing and retail outlets, hospitality sector, government offices, real estate corporations and businesses. In addition, the company offers customised consultations, a one-year replacement warranty, strong support and service network across Botswana, and a post-installation audit.

According to Clement Michael MD of Insperon Technologies, the distributing agency for the Shycocan in the SADC region, the product has been classified as a CE Class 1 Device and already conforms to the regulatory requirements of many countries including the US, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Malaysia, India and South Africa. Michael, MD of Insperon Technologies, told The Business Weekly & Review in an exclusive interview this week that the Shycocan has no chemicals, radiation, UV rays or side-effects and is completely safe for all humans, animals and the environment.

He explained that Shycocan produces high intensity photons. These photons strike solids like suspended air particles, viral particles and surfaces like tables, chairs, walls etc. in the room and emit electrons. Due to continuous operation an electron cloud gets formed in the indoor space. The electrons get attached to the Coronavirus in the environment, thus neutralizing its positive charge, preventing it from infecting another person. This process is called “Attenuation”.

According to the distributing agent, the product will arrive in Botswana on 10th June. His company is hoping to make the pricing of the device, which has received wide publicity since 2020, affordable to citizens. “We want to get life back to normal,” Michael said.
