The 2026 Stanbic Bank Botswana Music & Lifestyle Festival delivered exactly what it promised this weekend at Royal Aria Stadium, with thousands of people turning up in style for what proved to be one of the biggest lifestyle events on the local calendar.
From general access to the VIP section, revellers embraced this year’s theme and showed up looking stunning, creating a vibrant atmosphere from the moment gates opened. The VIP experience stood out with smooth shuttle services from parking areas, dedicated executive service, premium lounges and a world-class hospitality setup from start to finish.
Food stalls, pop-up markets and the lifestyle village were packed throughout the day, with more than 30 exhibitors and vendors showcasing food, fashion, art and local businesses. Live murals added colour to the festival grounds, while brands like Pigs on Fire kept the food experience lively and memorable.
On stage, the performances kept the crowd on its feet. Charma Gal and Culture Spears took fans down memory lane with crowd-favourite hits, while Dingo Jowa brought northern Botswana folklore and rhythm to life. Ezra Neethings mesmerised fans with songs like Morwalela and Tsela Ya alongside an ensemble performance with KTM Choir.
South African DJs Oskido, Mas Musiq and Xduppy brought amapiano and house music energy that closed the night on a high note.
The festival also crowned Shatani Semolokae as Best Dressed, with her walking away with a P10,000 cash prize.
Stanbic Bank Botswana Head of Brand and Marketing Stephanie Sandridge said the festival continues to grow as both an entertainment and economic platform.
“We are a financial institution, but we need to be close to people and understand their dreams and visions. Events like these allow us to connect with clients and even people who have never walked into our branch before,” she said.
She added that last year the festival created employment for more than 600 people and this year’s numbers are also expected to reflect strong economic impact.
“It’s really a labour of love for Stanbic Botswana. People came, they showed us they have an appetite for something like this, and we will continue to bring experiences like this,” she said
